Golf swing philosophy
What is my golf swing philosophy?
I take a holistic approach. I want golfers to have a sound golf
swing. A swing that they have confidence with and allows them
to hit the best shots that their talent allows. I also want
golfers to experience fun, excitement and moments of
exhilaration.
I understand that getting out on the golf course and shooting
low scores, hitting long drives and performing consistently is
what drives most people.
For this to happen you need more than just a good golf swing.
The world is full of golfers that can hit the ball well in
practice but can’t go near a golf course without self
destructing.
I’m sure you know people like this?
So my golf swing philosophy is to give golfers the best of both
worlds.
-
A mechanically correct golf swing based on real science
-
The skills to perform this swing consistently well out on
the golf course
Once a golfer can do this they are free to forget about golf
swing mechanics, swing tips and all of the other things golfers
like to worry about.
They are able to focus on enjoying the game, shooting low
scores and having as much fun as possible. It’s this mindset
that allows people to experience not just good golf…but moments
of exceptional play. I like to call this remarkable
golf.
So I’m not against learning a good golf swing… I realise that
mechanics and good swing skills are important. It's just I’m
against learning swing mechanics for long periods of
time.
I want golfers to develop good skills quickly…and then start to
play the game and experience the true enjoyment that is on
offer.
Far too many golfers continually work on their technique (even
the world’s best players) and never get to own their
golf swing and reach any sort of mastery.
My golf swing philosophy is based on how we learn all other
skills and is natural, easy and plenty of fun. And best of all…
It Works!
Enjoy…
